Do I have to bring the boat to you, or can you come to the marina?
Three routes work, and you pick one. Bringing the boat to Novi Sad is the recommended option, because measuring, frame fitting and final tensioning happen in controlled conditions and the result is a factory fit. If transport is awkward, we come to the marina with 3D templating. The third route is replication from your old canvas.
How does the mail-in canvas replication service work?
You post us the old cover or top and we cut the new one from it. This is the fastest and cheapest route when the existing piece fitted well and simply died of UV and age. If the old piece never fitted properly, on-site templating gives a far better result.
What is the difference between a Bimini top, a sprayhood and a camper?
A Bimini top is the roof over the cockpit that gives shade under way. A sprayhood shields the companionway and helm from wind and spray. A camper extends that further aft and closes the cockpit into a sheltered room. They are often built as one system that zips together.
What is on-site 3D templating?
It is measuring the boat where it lies, using photogeometry and 3D technology instead of tape and guesswork. The pattern is then cut in 3D software. That is why a cover made this way arrives tensioned correctly and needs no trimming or patching at the berth.
Which fabrics do you use for marine canvas?
Marine-grade UV-stabilised fabrics only, from established mills — Sattler of Austria and the USA, Citel and Docril of the USA and Spain, and Sauleda of Spain. For clear panels we use Renolit and Achilles PVC crystal film, which does not yellow or crack in the sun.
Why does the thread matter on a boat cover?
Because the stitching usually fails before the fabric does. Ordinary thread fades and rots in sun and rain, so a cover falls apart at the seams while the canvas is still sound. We use outdoor-rated threads from Serabond and Gore Tenara, which neither fade nor rot.
What is the warranty on marine canvas?
Five years on marine fabrics from our range, and the same on Achilles crystal film. The warranty covers both the mill’s material and our workmanship — the cut, the seams and the fittings — because from the customer’s side it should not matter whose fault a defect is.
How do I receive the finished canvas?
Three ways, as agreed. You collect the boat at our workshop in Novi Sad, we install on site, or we send the finished piece by courier when it is a cover that fits without tools. We ship abroad as well — tell us the destination country with your enquiry.
