Yes, our covers are made from heavy-duty reinforced PVC tarpaulin (650 g/m² and up) that easily supports heavy loads, including snow and accumulated water.

We secure the covers using stainless steel (inox) anchors, pop-up pins, and elastic tension ropes, ensuring perfect tension and stability throughout the winter.

Our winter covers are made from heavy-duty PVC, fully tensioned and anchored, so they cover the entire water surface. They are not certified safety covers, however, and must never be relied on as protection for children or pets. Children and pets should never be left unsupervised near the pool, covered or not.

Once we take the measurements, fabrication typically takes 7 to 10 business days, depending on the complexity of the shape. Installation is usually completed within a single day.

Dust, leaves, insects and general dirt, and it holds the water temperature you have paid to reach. It also cuts the light that feeds algae, so the water stays clearer between treatments. Less debris in the pool means less filtering, less chemistry and a shorter opening routine in spring.

Both. The same cover keeps leaves and insects out during the season and slows evaporation and night-time heat loss, so the pool is warmer in the morning. Many owners use it every night in summer and leave it on permanently once the season closes.

A fixed cover is anchored around the pool and stays put for the whole winter — it is the stronger option against snow. A roll-up cover runs on a manual winding mechanism, so one person can open and close it quickly. Roll-up suits daily summer use, fixed suits winterising.

Reinforced PVC tarpaulin, 650 g/m² and upwards, chosen for the load it has to carry. PVC is waterproof, weldable and unaffected by frost, so the cover survives repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Lighter fabrics tear at the fixing points under a wet snow load.

Either way works. Send a sketch with length, width and the shape of any steps or corners, plus photographs of the surround, and that is usually enough. For irregular or free-form pools we prefer to measure on site, because a template beats a drawing when the edge curves.

Yes — every cover is cut individually, in consultation with the owner, so shape is not a limitation. Free-form pools, Roman ends, corner steps and built-in ladders are all handled by cutting the pattern around them. This is the main reason a made-to-measure cover outlasts a standard rectangular one.

Clean it with water and a mild detergent, let it dry completely, then fold it loosely and keep it somewhere dry and shaded. PVC stored wet develops mould stains that do not wash out. A roll-up cover can stay on its mechanism if it is protected from direct sun.
